Integrated Complex Care

Innovative solutions for challenging care Issues

The Integrated Complex Care research group supports the care of patients with mental, physical, and social issues. We analyse the complexity of patients and care, improve collaboration between healthcare providers, and apply technologies for more efficient care. Additionally, we work towards better organisation of care for complex patients, who incur relatively high costs, so that their care needs can be mapped more accurately and professionals can provide appropriate care.

INTERMED method

Some patients experience physical, social, and psychological problems simultaneously, leading to complex care needs. The INTERMED method provides patients and caregivers with quick insights into the complexity of care demands and the healthcare system. It also helps create a tailor-made treatment plan.
